DevOps Engineer && Software Engineer
I am just a guy who got an Economics and Cybernetics degree in Kyiv, Ukraine, then an MBA in New York, US. Yet, work in neither and actually dedicated myself to coding.
Back in 2013, I decided to teach myself the basics of HTML, CSS, JS, and even scary, back then, PHP. From there, it was a rollercoaster ride of learning, breaking, and fixing things. I embraced MySQL, danced with Apache/Nginx, made friends with JQuery, and became a Linux secret admirer. I even danced with Phaser.js and Pixi, trying JavaScript for game development. Eventually, if you loved JS back in the days you had beed dragged in learning new mainstream things such as React, Gatsby, and NextJS, which I learned to love.
Remember those childhood dreams of creating your own video games? Well, I never let go of that dream. Phaser.js and Pixi.js? Check. Unity and Godot? Double-check. Godot's simplicity stole my heart, especially for 2D projects. BTW, recent co-founder of Moon Capybara game dev studio.
I love data, and gathering data as well which lead to learning some of web scraping? I've created an app to scrap Reddit's data in 2020, where I unraveled the most successful words on Reddit.
So, here I am, a code wizard by day, a game developer by night, and a dreamer always. If you're up for an epic coding journey or want to discuss the latest in web/game development, feel free to reach out. Let's embark on this digital adventure together!
